TechniQuest was founded in 1984 by Karen Harris and Claudia Lindquist, two recruiters who have over 37 years of combined experience in technical search.
Karen Harris started her recruiting career in the 1970's focusing on the disk drive and peripheral business in Silicon Valley. She has taken her engineering expertise and expanded into a wide variety of systems, software, instrumentation and state of the art manufacturing technologies typical of California. Educated at the University of Nebraska, Karen still has strong ties to the Midwest.
Claudia Lindquist has divided her career between search business and operations
management. Educated at Stanford, she ran manufacturing operations for Frito-Lay,
Raychem and Siltec, before starting her recruiting career in material sciences.
Her search work now encompasses technologies ranging from nanotechnology to
hardware and software development across a variety of industries.
Beyond the staff in the San Jose office, TechniQuest has associates
in San Diego, the Midwest and the San Francisco peninsula who can be called
upon to augment resources when the search demands it.
